Mass. Eye and Ear will exhibit at the Health and Fitness Expo, which will be held at the Hynes Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22. This event will include lots of fun activities, as well as important health and medical information to help your family and friends stay healthy and fit. The Expo is free and open to the public.
The Boston Marathon is over, but you still have the opportunity to support members of Team Eye and Ear in their final fund-raising push. The 60-member Team Eye and Ear is diverse, with runners ages 21 to 61. While many have personal experiences as patients or employees of MEEI, they all share an enthusiasm for supporting the hospital's mission and bringing hope to people everywhere who suffer with conditions affecting sight, hearing, voice and balance. The team was made possible due to the generosity of John Hancock Financial Services.
Please help support our team members, as they have all committed to raising $3,000 each to help fund hope for those individuals who suffer with conditions affecting sight, hearing, voice and balance. Team members turn in their funds soon. Meet the members of the team by clicking on their names below.

Did you know that MEEI has an emergency department that provides 24-hour care for eye and ear, nose and throat problems? There is a complete range of
eye trauma services available, as well as subspecialty services including cornea, glaucoma, ocular
plastics and neuro-ophthalmology. Care is also provided for all ear, nose, throat and head and neck conditions
in adults and children.
Do you need health insurance coverage? A new law in Massachusetts requires that all adults 18 years of age and older have insurance coverage. Resources and more information about the new law are available at www.gethealthcoverage.net.
