p63 Mediators as therapeutic targets in Head and Neck squamous cell carcinoma. Targeting the Ink4a/Arf locus in head and neck cancer with a replication competent adenovirus. Biological role of p16 in restricting clonal proliferation of premalignant aerodigestive epithelium (in collaboration with Dr. Jim Rheinwald, Department of Dermatology Harvard Medical School). p14Arf modulation of E2F mediated apoptosis. Characterization of the apoptosis inhibitor API5 in Head and Neck squamous cell carcinoma (in collaboration with Professor Nick Dyson, MGH Cancer Center). Phase II clinical trial of AZD2171 in patients with recurrent head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
