Lacerations and Fractures
Orbital trauma includes injuries to the orbit or to the tissues
surrounding the eye. Examples of orbital trauma include:
- orbital foreign
body
- orbital penetrating
injuries
- fractures and
traumatic optic neuropathy
- injury to the optic
nerve.
