We are looking for subjects to participate in one or more research investigations at the Jenks Vestibular Physiology Lab in the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. As a subject, you may be asked to do any of a number of tasks related to motion perception or spatial orientation.
For each experiment, you will need to come in for at least two test sessions. The tests typically last between one and two hours (never more than three hours). You will always know the time requirement in advance and you will be compensated for your time. The amount of compensation will vary for different tests but will always be known in advance.
If you are interested in volunteering or want to know more, please contact Keyvan Nicoucar (Keyvan_Nicoucar@meei.harvard.edu ) or call 617-573-5570.
We are looking for participants in a clinical trial being performed in the Retina Service at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. This study involves an investigational medication called VEGF Trap-Eye which may help prevent the progression of wet AMD.
To be eligible, you must have wet AMD with no prior treatment in the study eye and be able to return for all study visits. Qualified participants will be screened and, if eligible, return for study treatment and follow-up for 26 visits over a two-year period. Participants will receive study-related medical evaluations and study medication at no cost.
For more information, please contact Josh Yocum, Study Coordinator, at 617-573-3920.
