About Research Administration at MEEI

The Research Administration Department is responsible for managing all of Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary's grants and contracts in the research and service sectors. Funding comes from various sources, such as federal, state, and private sponsors.

The department works closely with principal investigators, program directors and research administrators through all phases of grant and contract management. We start by assisting to identify funding opportunities and developing proposals, to establishing accounts for new awards, to post-award grant accounting.

Research Administration also establishes internal policies and procedures, and oversees compliance with funder regulations.
