The doctors at Mass. Eye and Ear, Waltham offer ophthalmology sub-specialty care including cataract surgery, on-site laser vision correction, corneal collagen crosslinking and optometric services, including the fitting of specialty contact lenses for conditions such as dry eye, keratoconous and post corneal transplantation.

Our state-of-the-art facility is centrally located, just off route 128, in Waltham.  Free parking is available in front of the building.

The general ophthalmology services at Mass. Eye and Ear, Waltham range from routine eye care, such as eye exams and treatment of dry eye, to treatment of complex diseases. Our specialists perform advanced cataract surgery using the latest technology, including the femtosecond laser for customized, precision cataract surgery.

Cornea

Our cornea specialists offer care to patients with corneal, eye surface and refractive disorders, including specialized diagnostic testing, treatment and advanced surgical procedures such as cornea transplantation and post care. Our expertise includes leading-edge corneal collagen cross-linking procedures to treat patients with keratoconus.

Laser Vision Correction

Our Waltham clinicians provide expert refractive surgery evaluations, using the most advanced techniques and technology available today. Procedures are performed on site, and include photo-refractive keratectomy (PRK) and laser in-situ keratomileusis (LASIK). Optometry and Contact Lens

Our optometry team provides routine eye care, as well as prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses. With extensive knowledge of contact lens fitting methods, techniques and the newest available lens modalities, our optometrists can expertly assess and prescribe contact lenses for many specialty uses.

Ocular Oncology

The ophthalmologists at Mass. Eye and Ear, Waltham treat patients for the full spectrum of tumors around and on the surface of the eyes. At the Waltham office, we focus on ocular surface and orbital tumors.

Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery

Specialists in our Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery Service have in-depth expertise in reconstructive and cosmetic eyelid surgery, laser surgery, treatment of orbital tumors and inflammations (such as thyroid eye disease) and treatment for traumatic lacerations and fractures.

Directions

From the North:  Take either Route 3 or Route 93 South to Route 128 (95) South.  Take exit 28 (Trapelo Road).  Turn right at the end of the off-ramp.  Take the very next right, which is the entrance to Reservoir Place.  Follow arrows to the “Main Building” entrance, which is under the clock tower.

From the East:  Follow Route 2 to Route 128 (95) South.  Take exit 28 (Trapelo Road).  Turn right at the end of the off-ramp.  Take the very next right, which is the entrance to Reservoir Place.  Follow arrows to the “Main Building” entrance, which is under the clock tower.

From the West:  Follow Route 9 or Route 90 (Mass Pike) to Route 128 (95) North.  Take Exit 28B (Trapelo Road).  Turn right at the end of the off-ramp.  After you cross over Route 128, take the next right, which is the entrance to Reservoir Place.  Follow arrows to the “Main Building” entrance, which is under the clock tower.

From the South:  Take Route 128 (95) North.  Take Exit 28B (Trapelo Road).  Turn right at the end of the off-ramp.  After you cross over Route 128, take the next right, which is the entrance to Reservoir Place.  Follow arrows to the “Main Building” entrance, which is under the clock tower.

Once in the building, turn left at the first corridor intersection.  Suite 184 is located on the left side at the bend in the corridor.

The building is handicapped accessible with proper identification.  Please ring buzzer at the 1st level parking garage entrance for security.  If there is no answer, please call the office at 781-890-1023 and one of our staff members will assist you.
