General Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat)DrChong

Mass. Eye and Ear, Duxbury specialists diagnose and treat pediatric and adult conditions of the ears, nose and throat. The Duxbury office offers a wide range of services to adults and children including diagnosis and treatment of common problems such as chronic sinusitis, sleep apnea (snoring), tonsil and adenoid disorders, chronic ear infections, as well as thyroid and parathyroid disorders and head and neck masses. Common ENT services for children and adults include hearing loss, medical treatment of nose and sinus disease, voice disorders, speech and swallowing problems, as well as all common otologic (ear) problems including balance disorders.

Sinus Conditions

The ear, nose and throat specialists at Mass. Eye and Ear, Duxbury provide care for the full range of nose and sinus conditions for adults and children. Our services include care for nasal obstruction, acute and chronic sinusitis, smell and taste loss, nosebleeds, septal perforation and pain and headaches related to the sinuses.

Sleep Apnea and Snoring

The sleep specialists at Mass. Eye and Ear, Duxbury treat patients for a range of sleep disorders including obstructive sleep apnea and snoring. Obstructive sleep apnea is a common condition that causes brief interruptions of breathing during sleep; it is often characterized by loud snoring. Treatment options include surgical procedures, CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure machines) and oral appliance therapy. 

Tonsil and Adenoid Disorders

Our Duxbury specialists treat patients for a wide range of tonsil-related issues, including infections and lesions of the tonsils and adenoids. We provide surgical and non-surgical treatment for children and adults.

Thyroid and Parathyroid Disorders

The otolaryngology specialists at Mass. Eye and Ear, Duxbury offer diagnosis and treatment plans for patients suffering from thyroid and parathyroid conditions. Problems of the thyroid and parathyroid glands are common and can dramatically affect quality of life. Our physicians have extensive experience with a variety of these conditions, including thyroid nodules, goiter, thyroid cancer and hyperparathyroidism. We offer compassionate, expert surgical care when surgery is necessary.

Head and Neck

The specialists at Mass. Eye and Ear, Duxbury provide care for patients suffering from head and neck masses. Often these are problems that can be treated quite simply, for example, if the patient is suffering from cysts or infections. However, sometimes even a painless lump can be serious. Our physicians thoroughly evaluate each patient to give an accurate diagnosis; if the problem is more serious, we provide expert surgical care when necessary and a multidisciplinary approach in partnership with neighboring hospitals.

From Points North

Route 3 South to Exit 10.  Left at the end of the exit ramp onto Tremont Street (Rte 3A).
Less than ¼ mile on your left is The Park at Island Creek, 20 Tremont St.  When you pull in the drive, you will see our building is in the SECOND parking area on the left.  You will see a sign that says Buildings 1 – 9.  We are in Building 9, 1st floor, office on the right (Suite 20).  The office is handicap accessible.

From Points South

Route 3 North to Exit 10.  Right at the end of the exit ramp onto Tremont Street (Rte 3A).

Please note that GPS navigators will frequently incorrectly guide you to 20 Tremont St, in Kingston, and not Duxbury, so please be wary of using your navigator.  It is best to use the directions above.
