MEEI - Patient Support Groups

Support groups at MEEI give both patients and families the opportunity to talk to someone who understands their situation. The goal of support groups is to provide informational and emotional support to help each other cope and better function with a particular disease.

• Boston Cured Cancer Club for Laryngectomees

  
  Laryngectomees support group meets the first Sunday of each month with the exception of July and August.

• Thyroid Cancer Survivors

  
  The Thyroid Cancer Survivors Association Inc. is a support environment for people who have had thyroid cancer. There are regularly scheduled meetings, occasional workshops and resources.
  Dates: Third Saturday of each month from 10:30 to Noon
  Location: The Boston meeting is usually at Mass. General Hospital. For other New England meetings, see the website.
