the orbit.
9:20 am Extraconal (Peribulbar) / Intraconal
(Retrobulbar) Blocks

and /Retrobulbar technique, along with
anatomical landmarks, and safety
precautions.

10:30 am Alternative and Supplemental Techniques

anesthesia, supplemental orbital blocks,
facial nerve blocks, and sub-Tenon's block.
11:00 am Complications of Ophthalmic Block

recognition, management and implications of block related complications.

1:00 – 3:00 pm A. Cadaver Lab: Hands on practice doing extraconal and intraconal blocks
B. Sub-Tenon's Lab: Hands on practice doing Sub-Tenon's blocks on animal eyes.
